FAQs
Where do the sessions take place? Is everything online?
My practice is fully online through telehealth. You will receive a zoom link for each session. Click here to learn more about telehealth and how it works.
What if I want in-office sessions?
I completely understand that the telehealth platform is not for everyone. If you want or need in-person sessions, I would be happy to help connect you with a trusted colleague who offers this.
Do you see people who are not autistic?
Absolutely! I have experience with a variety of concerns. I also see people who have traits of autism but have not been diagnosed. Family members and close friends of autistic individuals also find my experience to be helpful.
How does it work? What do I have to do in sessions?
Because each person has different issues and goals for counseling, it will be different depending on the individual. I tailor my therapeutic approach to your specific needs. We will begin to discuss your individuals goals and what to expect in the first session.
How long will it take?
Unfortunately, this is not possible to say in a general FAQs page. Everyone’s circumstances are unique to them and the length of time counseling can take to allow you to accomplish your goals depends on your desire for personal development, your commitment, and the factors that are driving you to seek counseling in the first place.
Can I get EMDR?
Yes! I am a general EMDR clinician, working towards full certification. Learn more about EMDR and what to expect here.
